Not that I would do it, but if it was the case I would put Kase RW2, Spezz RW3 and Simmonds RW4, giving JT a more skill and fast paced RW.

I would if Kase proves himself to still be skilled. Spezza has lost a lot of speed, but his skill and vision remains (at least it did last year). But yeah Kase would be the ideal.

And yes I agree this is silly but I am stressed at work and needed a break. Lol
Laquille a aimé ceci.

If Kase proves he can play Id go with
Nylander - Matthews - Marner
Ritchie - Tavares- Kase
Kerfoot - Kampf - Mikheyev
Bunting - Brooks - Spezza
Simmonds as an extra
and Robertson, Steeves, Gogolev getting some looks.

Everyone praises the great Jr. league goal scoring machine as a sure fire future NHL all star, Nick Robertson, yet Dubas keeps pushing the guy down the depth chart by adding chumps like Ritchie and Bunting plus keeping Kerfoot (he should be in Seattle right now) and Mikheyev and Engvall and Simmonds making Robertson rot another year and soon Greedo (Rodion Amirov) will also pass him come the 2022 season. Looks like Robertson will be Dubas TDL bait for another loser rental player.

Spezza and Simmons shouldn't be getting big minutes. Mikheyev if cap allows just might be good option replacing Hyman. At Soupy's best he is a mini Hyman.
Ritchie and Bunting are really iffy getting big minutes too. A NHL ready Robertson would be nice, but I doubt if he ready by October,

Many organizations have been very successful forcing their prospects to overripen in the AHL. With the pandemic he's had like 20 AHL games... Where's the rush?

For a perfect example his two year older brother was a Calder finalist this past year.
