I don't think MIN moves Kap unless an NHL legit top six center is coming back.

They can find one in the top 5 of the 2022 draft with Ottawas pick

I think you misunderstood. I mean one that can play NOW.

It sure is interesting. The problem is that
A) there is not a top center prospect coming back
B) Kaprizov is not for sale. We will sign him

I disagree. If we trade Kaprizov, we should be committing to a rebuild and target futures.

Seems like a step backwards.

Or just the pragmatic thing to do if you’re moving your best player and have 4 years of significant dead cap.

With Kaprizov, that 1st in 2022 doesn't look as high suddenly

Wild would probaly prefer the 2024 1st round pick being changed for a top prospect (Ridly Greig?)

Also, remove Logan Shaw and add the other Logan instead so the Wild gets 2 centers with upside

2022 1st round pick (OTT)
Greig, Ridly
Bernard-Docker, Jacob
Brown, Logan

But I'm sure they'd rather keep him so unless there's burned bridges, he's going to stay with them

Where did Norris go?

Yeah kind of funny that Norris is among NON-ROSTER FORWARDS but it's probably not intentional

Admittedly that 1st line look terrifying

What upside does Logan brown have? He is in his draft plus 6 season and has 1 goal.

Evaluating a hockey player by just opening a hockeydb page is misleading AT BEST.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01SnG-371f8

Last time he played a significant amount of games he was 21 years old.

Since turning 22 y/o (same time as covid began), he has played 13 games in the AHL (in 3 separate stretches lol) and 1 NHL game. He could have played more NHL games last season but everytime he could have been called-up, he was injured.

Outside of him having been extremely injury-prone, there seems to be a major disagreement between his dad (ex NHLer Jeff Brown) and the organization so the bridges are possibly burned

He's an injury prone entitled prima donna I don't know, but he can certainly play hockey. It's time for a team to poach him for a very reasonnable cost but the Sens know it could easily blow up in their faces so they won't trade him just like that. They might want a similar reclamation project with upside. A 3rd round pick won't do it.
