If the team doesn;t do well in the playoffs, why would you pretty much bring back the same team (especially an 18 skater team with barely enough cap space for 20 skaters)?

If the team does well in the playoffs, why would your resignings and signings be so cheap? Thereby not being able to ice an 18 skater team. For example, do you think campbell just gets an extra 750k on a 4 yr deal? Or that Reilly comes back for just 6mil? That Spezza will play forever at 750k? That Liljrgren is worth re-signing in his 4th pro season without an NHL spot? Sandin takes 1.5mil?

I think if you decide how this season will end in your opinion, then you'll be able to look towards signings/re-signings
