Reilly is elite offensively but after years and years seeing him play hes not a top end dman. hes great on the powerplay and naturally helps in transition because of his skill but hes not someone youre going to ride for 25+ minutes through a playoff run and he never will be that guy. You can throw wte stats you wont about Jones, columbus hasnt exactly been the most stable place to play over the past few seasons, but i feel extremely confident in saying that he is going to thrive in Chicago and has the ability to be a true number 1 dman that can do everything.

100% Dubas is well known for his ability to sign his core to reasonable team friendly contracts so that shouldnt be a problem.

I mean he signed those deals with the expectation that we wouldn't have a world wide pandemic that would force a stoppage in play and league revenues would drastically take a hit and the Seattle expansion would be delayed a year. If the team cap was 85m or higher this year, those deals wouldn't look nearly as expensive as they do now. But yea, getting back to what you were saying.
