I don’t think he’s really been a center since he was on the rangers.

Played center basically all last year doesn't matter tho because that's a pathetic offer and the Canucks hang up immediately

I didn’t even get into the offer. He’s not a center. He played there last year mostly because of Canucks injuries, no? The year before he played wing with Pettersson and boeser primarily, right?

lmao this comment is embarrasing

1. he didn mention the trade lol, bruins dont want a lw so they reject
2. the trade is very NOT bad, its literally a very accurate trade value-wise, if anything, bruins reject because of also giving up a 3rd. Debrusk and a 4th would do the trick

Yes, he was only playing center because of injuries but his primary position is still center the only reason he doesn't normally is because the Canucks center depth is really good. They were even thinking of keeping him at center this year because they liked what he did last year until they got Dickinson.

His comment is not embarrassing. That is just not a good offer for a player of JT Millers caliber.

In real life the Bruins would accept this deal in a heartbeat. He's the type of player who can bring it when the games get tough, play C or LW and he is the best player in the trade so it would be a win for Boston.

What's embarrassing is you think that Debrusk plus a fourth is enough to acquire JT Miller. You are entitled to your opinion but my opinion is that you are way off base.

Value can be debated. But i think he’d be a good fit for the bruins. And he can play centre no problem.

If you think that gets you Miller your an embarrassment to hockey fans everywhere. At minimum it takes debrusk a 1st and studnicka for Vancouver to even consider

Miller isn’t really for sale since he’s Vancouvers top scorer.

That said, he would be a really good fit in the bruins. Would fit in well with Hall and Smith, and could fit in on PP1.

If a trade like this were to happen it would have to be an overpay, since miller is so valuable to the Canucks. Probably a package around Carlo, which I imagine would be off limits for the Bruins.

The fit is there but I think the ask would be too high

Canucks decline, they paid a lot to get Miller from Tampa (A 1st rounder), they can't openly take less after his value increased further while playing in Vancouver. Probably starts with Vaak and a 1st.

That doesn't get you Miller. Among center over the last 3 years he ranks 25th in production and has nearly identical production to Barzal

So you called out fans of Boston, Vancouver and Chicago for all disagreeing with your take on this ACGM trade and you got no support from anyone on this ACGM for your take on this trade yet its the cap friendly community who put up a rough showing? I can't speak for all the others but I watched plenty of DeBrusk this past season and unfortunately he was terrible. Just stop and think for a moment. It was probably BECAUSE of "watching some DeBrusk" that people made the comments they did.
