Take a look - Holland is one of the most successful GM's in the NHL. He won, among other things, 4 President's Trophies and 3 Stanley Cups in his 20 years as Detroit's GM. Edmonton was a .482 (25th place) team with severe cap restraints when he took the reins two years ago, since then they've posted a steller .610 (11th best) record. http://www.nhl.com/stats/teams

This past summer was the first time Holland had enough cap space to make any significant changes, so we'll see where it goes from here. But I'll take his record over Jim Benning's any day of the week.
