Not sure the Gavrikov or Foudy trades go through. The other ones, I’d be happy with. I try not to get so far ahead of myself with thinking about future drafts to the point where I’m envisioning a specific pick/player, so can’t say much there.
Boqvist and Foudy also get bridge deals. Think 2-3 years. Both of the price tags are also real high.
Elvis ain’t too bad. Though I don’t like six years so much.
That contract seems to not so easily balance the line between “Laine had a bounce back year” and “Laine sucked again.” It feels like the situation with him is going to end in a trade, because either (a) he rebounds, has a big year, and prices himself out of town; or, (b) he has another mediocre year, in which CBJ aren’t inclined to keep him.
Agreed on Sillinger -probably spends the majority of this season and next with AHL, makes a spot NHL appearance here or there. Johnson joins him similarly after this NCAA season. Marchenko is likely to jump right in to the lineup, though his ELC is going to be two years, not three.
