Detroit doesn’t need clang anymore they have Ned with cossa as the goalie of the future

This is a whole year in the future but depending on what happens with Leddy, Nadeljkovich, and Bertuzzi this coming season It could be an interesting option.

I wouldn't be so sure about either Nadeljkovich or Cossa. Remember what happened with Mrázek?

Clang is #3 or maybe #2 of all young swedish goalies and if Leddy doesn't extend and gets traded away we could use Matheson. Bertuzzi is also going to be UFA after the 22-23 season so I don't see this as a totally unrealistic scenario even if there are a lot of thing that needs to line up for it to happen.

Before Cossa, who was the last goalie Steve drafted in the first round? I like our chances. Plus he picked Cossa over Wallstedt who was pretty much the consensus #1 goalie of the draft so he obviously sees something he likes in him.
