Erik Brannstrom is surprising as he's quite similar to Aho, he's basically a better Aho.
There's a few players that could interest the Sens
Wahlstrom, Oliver
Dobson, Noah
Mayfield, Scott
Bailey, Josh
What would it take on top of Brannstrom for each to make it work?
Brannstrom is the exact same size as Sebastian Aho
Seems like Brannstrom is much better than Aho. I wouldn't make any of those moves, I was thinking something around Bellows and Brannstrom.

Chiarot for a 2cnd
I'd do a 3rd.

We just moved our long term (2 years) cap dump. Why would we trade for another (scandella)?
I've always been a Scandella fan and he plays a style I think would fit with Dobson. Plus, he'd cost nothing, maybe even a swap of Komarov and Hickey for Scandella. St. Louis gains a little cap but loses two cap dumps in one year. Isles get a defenseman who can play everyday at less than $4M.

The habs would need a better D coming in before moving Kulak. Otherwise, he’d cost a mid-round pick.
I'd do a mid-round pick like a 4th.

from Mtl: Kulak & Armia for Bailey?
Hell no.

Advice #xx : never look at hockey db for hockey players measurements. Brannstrom has been listed 5'10 in training camps and development camps. He's also 5'10 on EliteProspects, Hockey Reference, etc
I'm ready to give something substantial on top of Brannstrom to get Dobson (need a partner for Chabot). Problem is the Isles want to compete now and picks/prospects wouldn't help.
Actually, what about this lol (would never happen but for fun)
Brady Tkachuk + Erik Brannstrom + another piece (depending on Isles needs)
for
Noah Dobson + Anthony Beauvillier
Enticing but no. I'd rather have Dobson and Beauvillier, even though Tkachuk is the best player in the deal. Makes no sense for the Isles to move Dobson, and Beauvillier is at a reasonable contract.
