Jets win this one as they offload $4.35M in Cap space mean they will have even more room to do what has to be done this summer. As well it opens up another slot on the team for one of our Young Propects that we have a ton of.

Jets got crushed in this deal already. Stafford has 5 points in 7 games so far. He's playing like a guy who would cost us a 2nd round pick and a prospect, but we got him for practically nothing. You can take your extra roster spot and insert a young prospect, but you still should have gotten more for a player producing like this.

You realize that Stafford was a UFA after the season right? He could have not been traded and you'd still unload a $4.35 million cap hit to work with in the of-season lol. In the end I think BOS wins this trade. Stafford came in and scored some big goals and helped in the playoffs...WPG in return got a pick that will probably turn into a prospect may have a cup of coffee in the NHL.
