Brown not panning out?

Apparently he won’t sign a qualifying offer before being traded. It’s not that he’s not panning out , but every time he needs to show his skills, he gets injured. He has the skills for the NHL just doesn’t back check and always gets injured

He gets around but won't ever be more than average at the NHL level. He reminds me of Dylan Strome in several ways. Strome is a better shooter while Brown is a better passer. Actually, his whole game is based on vision/passing so it's not about speed. But it would be smart to play him with fast puck retrievers who actually have enough skill to cycle along the boards, and some finish too.

I'm kinda wondering if his dad hasn't been a problem. They seem to complain a lot when the reality is he has been very injury prone. It will probably need a change of scenery and a healthy season so he can finally start earning NHL money full time. His talent level is undeniable.

A NHL team will be smart and pick him up for cheap. I just hope the Sens ship him out West at this point. I would hate to see Brown make high end plays against the Sens as a Hab or Maple Leaf.
