He was unavailable for Jack Eichel? That’s news to me. The five guys I thought Drury wouldn’t budge on were Laf, Fox, Shesty, Kakko, and Miller

We can’t afford Vladdy in 2022-23. Gonna have to pass on this, but it’s not overly bad in terms of value. You should be able to get a return similar to that with your package from someone else

Drury has been horrible so far, but trading a really good winger to the Blues just to get a worse player from the Blues doesn’t make sense.

2 reasons. First, Rangers don't need Tarasenko, especially at his cap hit. They traded Buchnevich to free up cap space and open a spot on the top 6 for Kravstov. Second, they traded up to get Schnieder in the draft because he is exactly the type of big, physical D they have been looking for. He will get some time in Hartford because they have Fox, Trouba and Lundquist on the right side, but if he is as good as they think he is, he will find a spot on the team sooner rather than later. Also....if Drury had any interest in Tarasenko, he would have worked him into the Buchnevich trade somehow.

Return Bolduc...maybe a sweetener on either side of trade...don't know much about him other than C taken at 17 this year- but if NYR are to move a promising young prospect...it better be to upgrade their C position/prospect pool...not to trade for a guy needing a contract in another year
