NHL trade deadline giving Price a break to be fresh for the playoffs

Créé par: Wreckless
Équipe: 2021-22 Canadiens de Montréal
Date de création initiale: 5 sept. 2021
Publié: 5 sept. 2021
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
LTIR is a beautiful thing, right Tampa?

Weber and Byron come back and we still have $8mm in cap space to add the right center for Drouin and Hoffman. Hertl could fit, or whoever else wants to be a part of this machine.
There’s not many teams in the league who don’t have a “4th line”…or a hole at D. Or in nets.

Dvorak > Danault.
Younger. Better goal scorer. Better cap hit. Better term. Career could take a huge swing to the upside getting out of Arizona. Outproduced Marner his last year in London. Has gotten better every year in the NHL.

Hertl > KK.
In every conceivable way.

Savard > Merrill/Gustafsson

Hoffman > Tatar

Suzuki, Caufield, Evans, Romanov all with a year more experience.

And Tampa just lost a ton of their depth.

2021 yet another year for the Hab haters to fish for excuses as to why they were wrong. “Weak Canadian division”, blah blah blah…wait, they beat Vegas?

“It was a magical run…”

“Cinderella story…”

Open your eyes people. This team is stacked, and stands to get even more stacked by the deadline.

    Playing with Austin Matthews must be nice, eh? Wake me up when Marner wins a playoff series.

    Dvorak has been a defensive center, and a good one. That’s not to say that he won’t be able to produce also, given better wingers.

    The comparison of Dvorak was to Danault, not to Marner. The point being that anyone who was able to outscore Marner at any point anywhere (obviously) has offense in him, as well.

    We have to give them credit though, Toronto is a very good regular season team. It must be great to be a fan of a very good regular season team.

    haha, oh that's great. So, for fun lets look at Dvorak's linemates recently Kessel, Keller and Garland? Huh, cant crack 40 points with those guys? that's....not great and Dvorak has not been a good defensive center, he's been an ok 2 way 2C. He doesnt drive play, he doesnt really do much on his own but complement his better wingers decently.
    And Danault is one of the best defensive players in the game, not just centers, players. Dvorak isnt in his league, and he's broken 40 points 3 times!
    And you did compare him to Marner, you brought up their jr numbers like it means anything at all, and that's hilarious like I said because Dvorak isnt and never will be on the same planet as Marner, a guy who seems to give goal scorers career years every time he plays with them. He does not have anything close to that sort of offence in him he was a product of Marner and Tkachuk in the OHL.

    More like

    LW1: Hoffman ≤ Tatar
    C2: Dvorak < Danault
    Top4 RD: Savard < Weber

    4th liners/3rd pair D doesn't change much but
    Poehling = Staal
    Perreault = Perry
    Paquette = Frolik
    Wideman < Merrill
    Ouellet < Gustafsson

    "This team is stacked" We definitely don't have the same definition of stacked.

    Well, not as stacked as we would have been with Barzal, Chabot, and Connor, but you know, still pretty stacked.

    Hertl probably has Montreal as a team he doesn’t want to go to, Price can’t go on long term injury reserve for *a break*, even if Hertl did come he would be a 2nd line C and Weber is probably retiring if not can’t return from a bad injury the Canadians are not stacked they lost to much this off-season in joy 6th-8th in the Atlantic
