But the pieces going to Columbus makes sense. Jesper would reunite with his brother and could be a top 6 center for the Blue Jackets. Kuokkanen can play center too and would be a good addition to the Jackets forward core. The 1st would help the Blue Jackets in their rebuild. The Devils could also add a defensive prospect like Walsh or Okhotyuk

I’m aware he’s only on a one year deal but he does have one more year of RFA left and I highly doubt he puts on a Wild sweater next season. I would put the Devils and the Canes as my best guesses.

He just fits the Devil’s needs and timeline.
