Guentzel > Pacioretty, Gaudreau, Trocheck, Debrincat

This is my opinion but I think guentzel makes the lineup. Hes a top 10 Left winger in the league

i agree on all that besides Debrincat. Dude has had 40 goal seasons

So has guentzel. Hes just been injured more.

This is really really good. I would make an argument for pesce over jones, and guentzel to get in the lineup. But this is very good.

Agreed. And if they feel like winning the tournament, they'll have Miller in ahead of Gaudreau. And forget about M Tkachuck...his nonsense only hurts you in tournaments like this. I can't stand Marchant, but at least he's smart enough to have figured that out.

Debrincat definitely > Guentzel

Guentzel and Debrincat are litterally the same. Th3re both 40 goal scorers. Both aren't very physical and dont have a size advantage. Guentzel would be better but he gets injured a little more.

Guentzel was better in 2019-20. He was headed for 40-50 goals then. He was projected to have 80-90 points before he got that head injury. Debrincat on the other hand had a down year and was projected to have 50-60 points.

Now yes that was 2 years ago, but that wouldve really put him ahead on the top wingers.

Guentzel has also scored more goals. In only 10 more games played. Guentzel is better overall and if he wasnt injured in 2019-2] he wouldve had the better year. This year, Guentzel had more points and 1 less goal. Guentzel was headed for 70-80 points and so was Debrincat. There both very similar players.

Debrincat is Playing with Kane, and Guentzel is playing with Crosby. So you cant use that against Guentzel. They both play with franchise players

I think they allow roster size of 22 in Olympics...so could add an extra forward and extra d-man.

I have Patches over Guentzel for the veteran aspect. But yea, I am a fan of Guentzel. Regardless of who makes the opening night lineup, this is a contender - Especially on defense and goaltending.
