Nope I didnt. Just didnt put him in there because there are a lot of different variables.
1. this is 4 years from now
2. KK could be extended to a lot lower aav rather than qualifying him.
3.If he is qualified after this season, it could be a 1 year deal, and then he would get a lower contract after that
4.KK could light it up and become Elite and then be worth more than 6m
5.KK could be doggy do do and wont get qualified by anyone.
6. Theres probably more
Also what does KK have to do with Necas? Two different players playing at different levels
No he cant
If he could he would have been
Instead he's the first player in a decade likely to go on Waivers
That says he was promised more from CAR then MTL would offer
i know what MTL would offer and it would have taken a big promise to get KK to leave a SCF team in a way that is unheard of
Qualifying AS A RULE means he makes atleast 6.1m
CAR gives up a 1st and a 3rd not to re-sign him next year ?
All your examples are out of the "how to tank a business" handbook
So many people "he'll sign for less "
That line of thinking is why he left MTL
CAR could end up with nothing in the end and use their spare cap space this season
But whatever its your fantasy it just tells me you dont own anything of value if this is how you rationalize business decisions
