Dach is sooooo hard to guess see my description. As of now he hasn't earned 5 mil. I certainly see where he started to look like a 5 mil player but it's just so hard to say.

Without knowing your goaltender situation it's hard to guess the cap. So it's hard to know if they need to buyout Connolly. Ideally they don't so they don't have to carry the penalty for the extra year...

I actually think Dach will be A.) Agreeable to a 1 year deal and B.) Want a 1 year deal. It allows him an extra year to prove himself and then the Hawks roll off the $21M for both Toews/Kane. IDK what Kane will want/get, but Toews can't possibly get $10.5M. I actually hope they both take discounts to win, but thats just hoping.

Caps will pass on that deal. We're probably going to trade Vitek next summer, but I'd expect it to be for futures, not to get someone like Strome. No place in the lineup for him and we've got McMichael close to ready and Lapierre a couple years behind him.

Toews is probably back down to $6M'ish. Kane probably $8.5M for 5 years or so is my best guess with term.
