None of it makes sense. Leafs fans think Rielly is the best dman in the league and everyone would do anything they can to get him. Dude will respond with, "Rielly signs on extension," and obviously that doesn't make a difference considering Sergachev is the better player and signed beyond this year.

The Wings trade? Because if you look at all the other Leafs AGMs, everyone wants Dermott and Engvall who are both mediocre at best. Mikheyev is a good player, but not to the point the pick going the other way becomes a 3rd. If there's a Hronek deal, the starting point is a 1st and a top prospect, then you go from there.

Yzerman responds with gagner for Matthews. All those trades Are stupid as hell. Especially the Detroit one, there is zero value going back to Detroit. You want to make a deal for Hronek it starts with Robertson, Sandin and a first. Probably another first on top of that.
