Pettersson isn't worth that kind of money yet in my opinion and I would much rather have those first round picks. He's not going to move the needle that much for us to make those picks that much better. I would rather not waste the picks and try for zibanejad, barkov or Trocheck if they become available. Also going to be some good centres in this draft so just be patient and wait.

I don't even think you'd have to go to a $10M offersheet to EP to put cap pressure on the Canucks. I genuinely think that the conversation gets interesting in the $6-$8M compensation range.

I think people are assuming Hughe’s bridge deal is going to be 8-9M which is absurd considering Werenski, McAvoy, and Sergachev all did 3 year bridge deals for 4.8 - 5M.
