Palat may be kept, it all depends on if he's willing to stay for less or if he wants to chase the $. Joseph isn't getting that unless he really breaks out this season. Hudon isn't on the team at 1 million, and they won't pa thg a backup G 1.5 most likely either as Alnefelt will be cheaper next year if ready.
It all depends on Palat though and what he's looking for in terms of $. If it looks like the numbers won't work, Tampa could trade him at the deadline and look to acquire someone on an expiring contract that the team believes will re-sign for what they have to offer. Alternatively, if Palat is viewed as a higher priority than Killorn long term, the team could trade Killorn for a good return after the year and be able to.keep Palat.
In any case, Barre-Boulet would likely take the top 6 role if either Palat or Killorn is moved/leaves. If younger players like ABB, Raddyah and Katchouk play well, Tampa may not miss a beat, but in any event, the core will still be intact and they should still be a contender in '22-'23.
