Rather keep the 1st and Lilijgren and Miettinen (who seem like to be a draft steal for dubas as a early look on him) than get Manson for one year and the hope to extend him

Reports are teams aren't offering more than a 1st for Manson or rakell so

Manson has taken a sharp downturn in his career. Some team will probably offer up a similar deal, but IMO it's a huge mistake.

They shouldn't offer a 1st, let alone more. Manson has been terrible the last few years. I know he'll get more than a 3rd, but personally I don't think he's worth more than that. Manson is marginally better than Gudbranson at this point. I'd rather sign Gudbranson at this point than give up any assets.

I like Manson and, despite his detractors, I think he would be a good addition to this team and make them better. However, this is an absurd price to pay for him, imo, especially as a rental.

If you do a comparison on natural stat trick between Manson and Gudbranson, Gudbranson outperformed him in every major category by a LARGE margin. Gudbranson can probably be had for around $1M without giving up assets.

That really doesn't mean a whole lot to me. Small sample size of games, coming off of a major injury, playing on a dog sh*t team... That's a lot of variables and those stats, while not meaningless, don't take context into account, which is key. So you can't really just take them at face value to determine whether a player is good or not.

Three seasons ago Manson put up 17 points, last year 9 and this year 7. That's not worth a 1st.
