Even though Kaprizov is a better player than Hischier, I don't think the Devil's should make this trade. Hischier is a solid #2C and much harder to replace than players like Kap.

This trade makes sense for both on many levels

At very least repliers should acknowledge that the trade was tactfully constructed and would be compelling to both teams

We should encourage constructive input

That is not a condition. That is a negotiation between teams and the player

The way it's phrased makes it sound like the Wild only get the pick if Kaprizov re-signs. If the extension is agreed upon before the trade, then that's obviously different, but that's not how it reads to me.
