I get that Dvorak will likely get a good young player or a first, just don't think it's from MTL. They need young dmen with potential more then they need another center.

It's a little rich for Montreal but no way they let the kid go for a 2nd rounder.


Yeah it'd make more sense to trade a center and then some for Dvorak, our defense is built to see guys go as the rookies are coming in although if they all pan out there's a log jam so moving one shouldn't put ourselves in trouble. Chiarot and Kulak are UFAs next year making place for Norlinder and Harris to get in. Maybe Eddy gets moved the year after to make space for Ghule and then guys like Mailloux and Struble can get in the mix.

Ya in my mind MTL should be on the market for a cheap veteran UFA center like Brassard or something. Not giving up assets for a Dvorak

The line up is set, with Poehling and KK we're a 23 man roster, I get that maybe Payday can start in the AHL but he'll have to come up at one point and he looked damn good last year down there. I also don't know if he's still waiver exempt ... 22 years old with 3 pro years I think he's not.
