There's noway LA or Nashville make the playoffs, Most have Detroit higher then both. Would rather keep Fabbri over Yamamoto and doubtful DDK would even waive for Edmonton.

I do think Fabbri would be good in Edmonton if he doesn't sign an extension, but the package is going to be different for a return.
Only other realistic one I see here is gagner to Toronto, but not for a fourth, more like a sixth.

What do you mean Kings have no chance of making the playoffs? They actually have a really good chance of making the playoffs. Remember the regular divisions are back and the additions of Arvidsson, Danualt, Edler, and the development of the young players puts the Kings back into playoff contention.

Kings would have no interest in that deal. Dustin Brown would never be traded away from LA unless he request a trade which will not happen as well.

Lol so Edmonton not only gives up the player with significantly more value but throw in the better pick too?

Yamamoto is the single greatest player it's fanbase thinks deserves a long term 2 million dollar contract

They are also in the by far weakest division in hockey so that helps.

Gagner would have trouble making the Marlies. The Leafs have 20 forwards ahead of Gagner

I’m willing to take that bet that Nashville finishes better than Detroit. I may be optimistic but this Is basically the same team that still finished 4th last year after a historically bad start. People tend to look at us dealing arvi and Ellis as rebuild days but if you actually watch the preds last year you seen they were expendable. As much as I dog on poile for some of the moves he made he still has the preds in playoff contention year in and year out. Last 17 years the preds have only missed the playoffs a total of 3 years. So I’m not counting the preds out just yet

Why are we doing TDL trades in August? The very premise for all of these is significantly flawed, not to mention the value, until the season plays out...

Fabbri will be a 26-year-old pending UFA rental while Yamamoto will be a 23-year-old under team control for several more years.

Past two seasons:
Yamamoto: 79, 19-28-47 (0.59 P/GP) +26
Fabbri: 91, 25-25-50 (0.55 P/GP) -30

Yamamoto clearly has far more value than Fabbri due to contract differences and similar performance. Why is this difficult for you to understand?

I didn't say anything to suggest I care one way or another. I find it funny that you guys will on one hand say Yamamoto is a future star player who will scored piles of points and then also say he's a middle 6 winger who should take a 6 year deal paying him 2.5 million a year. Classic capfriendly fan double talk. Just justify bull**** to benefit yourself and rationalize stupid thoughts.

No one is saying that he is a future star its just that Fabbri isn't as good, Yamo has upside as a top 6 winger. From what I see from similar contracts he'll get 2x2. I've never seen anyone anywhere seriously say 6x2.5.

Dude you lost Rinne to retirement, Traded Arvidsson lost Ellis without replacing any of them. You might finish slightly higher then us but you're not making the playoffs.

Possibly only because they play in a garbage division, Where any crap team can make the playoffs.

Edmonton won't trade Yamo until 23-24 when his 1.5x2year bridge deal is done and they can no longer afford to keep him after his two 45- 50 point seasons.
