trading away demelo and Dillion just make us take a step back again, the goal was to get reliable defensemen and we did that, so there’s no point in trading them away

Leafs decline and also don't know why jets would be trading Dillion. Both players are new acquires and difference isn't a 2nd

Winnipeg just acquired Dillon (who is a perfect fit), and the Leafs just signed Kampf out of free agency. Both teams decline

I think many have missed this is for 22-23.

Forsberg is a borderline elite LW, top line wingers are making about 7-8 mil so I think its fair. Nichushkin is super underrated, he is easily worth 4 because of his defensive acumen.

Why not? In the 22-23 season you only have 4 D under contract. Obviously Sandin will play and maybe Liljgren but Dillon is a huge upgrade over Dermott imo



They would still be solid defensively and moving those two is necessary to acquire 2 very good wingers in free agency. Also Samberg and Heinola would need roster spots because they will both be very good.

Rielly is still up on if he stays or goes. Let say he walks. Then we have Muzzin Sandin Dermott/Rubins/any other rookie dman looking to make a jump or a signing. Dubas claimed he liked Kampf alot and for a while. Dillon may be better than Dermott but the value to replace Dermott isn't Kampf and 2nd

I think DIllion is a nice fit for the jets and adds a toughness they havent had since old Buf left.
