Lmao even with 50% retained that's a hysterical overpayment for Adam Henrique

The Pens current left-handed dmen on the roster: Dumoulin, Pettersson, Matheson, Riikola and POJ combined for over $14M.

This makes zero sense for the Penguins, not to mention this is a gross overpayment and Hextall has been VERY transparent on multiple occasions to the media that he's no longer trading away the Pens 1st or 2nd round picks, and would only consider moving a prospect for a very good deal, which this is not.

I only WISH we could get Zach Jones and a first for Josh. Truthfully, I'd be happy with that return for Hampus, with 50% retention. Maybe even overjoyed.

No chance the Sens are going to give him up for Adam Henrique, even if retained. That's the type of prospects they'd give up for Jack Eichel

Most of these returns are just too high. Henrique with 50% retained would probably get a 3rd or 4th. Manson would likely get a 2nd. Silfvy with 50% retained would probably get a 3rd or 4th like Henrique. Deslauriers return is more realistic if you look at what the Rangers paid for Reaves. But they are the only team that would pay that much for Deslauriers but not anymore anyways.

Lindholm with an extension could probably get more than that but not from the Penguins.

I wouldn’t go anywhere near giving JBD away for Henrique. Even just a 2nd might be a little rich, the three years left is a bit of an anchor.
