We have already got a taste of that second line right before the playoffs in a must win vs vgk. I think Beds will give Newhook another shot at 2c early.

OO will get a taste this year and play out the rest of the season in Barrie letting his ELC slide to next year. Cheap talented depth is going to be sooooo important over the next 2yrs.

The weak spot is a 3rd line w. Sign AG or some other NQO/need a rebound at under a mil. In this one Nuke slides over to rw and AG into his when OO goes down. If he can't rebound, Nuke to the LW and Kaut comes up or JTC slides up and LOC comes in. Probably the latter, but I keep hoping Kaut gets a real shot as he has been good in Loveland as of late.

If EJ is healthy, this D corp is tough and better than last season. A solid top 4 would be nice again, instead of the situational revolving top 3/bottom 3 system we have now. Beds will still gives us almost every pairing combo each night to some extent anyway, but thats the way they can list it in the pregame.
