Pretty sure both teams decline this. Leafs won't be interested in that Krieder contract - if they were they woulda offered it to Hyman. The prospects are nice but they're still a "what if" with no proven NHL time to date. When you're trading a legit #1 d-man, you'd better be getting back significant pieces and they just aren't it.
Rielly isn't the type of d-man that the Rangers need. His offensive numbers would drop because he'd be purely a 2nd PP guy likely behind Fox, and then the value isn't there for them. Kerfoot isn't useful to them either, Strome is in the same type of player area. & the Rangers already have depth wingers so Mikheyev is of no use to them.
This just doesn't make any sense what so ever.
