Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

First Line - Ehlers replaces Wheeler. He has surpassed Wheeler in his ability to drive play, exit the defensive zone and offensive zone entries. His speed should open up some soft pockets for Scheifele and Connor to exploit. Scheifele's line was awful defensively last season.

Second Line - Stastny and Wheeler will provide Dubois with the veteran support to re-establish his offensive game. Dubois should get lots of quality shot attempts with both Wheeler and Stastny as pass first wingers.

Third Line - the dynamic duo of Copp and Lowry are joined by Vesalainen this season. Just like Armia and Appleton in the past, Vesalainen will make the most of this opportunity.

Fourth line - If the Jets do sign E. Svechnikov then this would change but I believe that both Harkins and Gustafson deserve their shot at these minutes.

First pairing - Morrissey hasn't had a consistent, qualified partner since Trouba. I believe they will both flourish as a pairing.

Second pairing - Dillon provides the defensive game that will allow Schmidt to create offensively.

Third pairing - Gone are the days of filling these spots with other teams' waiver fodder. Stanley and DeMelo will provide quality minutes. Both are capable of stepping into a larger role should there be an injury in the top 4. Beaulieu would fill the spot and is able to play both sides.

Goaltending - Helly will need to stay healthy. Comrie will be given the opportunity but the Jets may need to be ready to bring someone in as backup.

I hope Perfetti, Heinola and Samberg all get a 9 game opportunity to play with the Jets. Unfortunately, they will need to spend another season with the Moose to prove they are ready to play full time next season. Stastny is keeping Perfetti's spot warm but someone will have to be moved to make room for the LHDs.
