I mean, yeah, what do you mean by excellent? What is it in relation to?
Kubalik is a good top six/top line winger. He's not an all star caliber player.
Richel is a good prospect, I like him a lot, he's one of the two players I wanted the Wild to move back into the first round to take, but he's not an elite blue chip kind of guy. He's not projected to turn into a Patrick Kane level guy. He should be a good middle six to top six forward when all is said and done. Probably not too far off Kubalik one way or the other if he reaches his potential. He may be Chicago's best prospect, but most other teams have at least one better prospect than him, some have a few.
Well, it obviously depends on everyone's semantics
I have generationnal players for guys like McDavid and Crosby
I have elite players for guys like Huberdeau, Brad Marchand, etc
Then I have high end, then excellent/very good, then good, then average, then below average, then barely NHL level I guess.
By the way, Patrick Kane is more generational than "excellent". He's probably the best USA born player ever. Of course, it depends if your standards are realistic or not.
Agreed some teams have better prospects, some have several but to me he's an excellent prospect. Not blue chip, not high end but not just "good" either
