I would think Yamo would prefer to bet on himself on a short term deal, try to establish himself as a top 6 F, and then seek much more than that. Just not that often guys who have top 6 potential do this to themselves, more definitive bottom 6 checkers that we have seen sign long-term low-ish cap hit deals (see Sissons, Goodrow etc.)
That said, 6 years at 2.5mil would be an immense steal. We already know Yamo is a middle six player. I have a hard time seeing it getting done.
