I'm neutral on the value. I wouldn't mind doing it, but at the same time, do I really want the Leafs to give up another 1st? At least it will go to a 24 year old with RFA status than a 33 year old

I don’t think that’s overpayment when you factor in the retention. A first is nice but likely going to be a late first and Mikheyev is a replaceable 4th line guy who I’m sure Bruins don’t really care about. Maybe swap him out with a mid level prospect or mid round draft pick.

Please keep Engvall to yourselves.

Turris was in the lineup less than 50% of the time last year and probably is going to the AHL next season. Nobody is depending on Turris for anything, lol.

He's solid defensively. Oilers are going to need it considering you have Ceci and Barrie locked up for 3 to 4 seasons

There's no evidence that DeBrusk will make the kind of meaningful difference for the Leafs when he isn't even doing that well for the Bruins
