When I saw this notification come up from the NHL app I could of sworn it said “Oilers Extend Koskinen”. Anyways, he’s a solid 7-8 option who can fill in when there’s an injury.

I still have trouble pronouncing this guy’s last name. It’s one of those things where no matter how you pronounce it, someone’s gonna say you’re doing it wrong.

Seriously though, I think it's Koo-Kook in English? There might be a slightly different inflection in Finnish though. Maybe the last K is silent(ish) because the broadcasters I've heard use Koo-Koo.
