So you'd probably be dipping twice into the Sandin, Amirov, Robertson pool of prospects.

frankly if san jose didnt already have both burns and Karlsson and Vlasic, Rielly would in theory based on production and position, be a 1 for 1 trade with Tomas hertl, you wouldnt want to add rielly to that dcore.

Unless of course you wanted a younger PP spe****t top pairing dman on your team

Morgan is only 27
Karlsson is the closest at 31
Vlasic is 34
and burns is 36

in theory if you were trying to start from scratch and rebuild, which the sharks havnt really done willingly mind you, you would rather morgan over the other 3. All would depend on how much you really wanna make a reset i suppose.

Now morgan at this cost with the retention, for a rebuilding san jose is probably pretty different, frankly its probably worth it, start the teardown with shipping out a guy on the last year of his contract so the retention is irrelevant.

Literally the only way that trade happens is with that line of thinking, its not what anyone is thinking, but thats the line.

SJ isn't trading Hertl for that, let alone giving you Ferraro as well.
