The 2020-2021 team was arguably the most built for playoffs team the Leafs have had since 93. Four unfortunate things occurred Tavares went down in a freak accident. Foligno also got injured (who I will argue to this day was a solid acquisition and just what the Leafs needed). Muzzin got injured. And better than his 2014 MVP season Carey Price showed up. The Leafs depth really showed up and checked all the boxes. But one thing could not be beat and that was Carey Price. Plain and simple.

Leafs appear to have a solid roster this season and I am confident they will contend.

I know JT has failed as your captain so naturally you'd want to try and get the guy who was named his successor, but there is no chance in hell the Isles trade him lol
