Signing Galchenyuk would be stupid. I mean bro come on you buried Newhook and are playing MacDermaind instead of Byram and adding ANOTHER 4th line guy when they literally have no less than 9 guys already competing for 3 spots. Sakic would be a lot better off doing nothing then adding 2 paperweights.

I actually think it wouldnt be that bad of an idea. Galchenyuk played really well with skilled linemates and can be a solid secondary scoring option, replacing some of the production lost when Donskoi was claimed by Seattle.

It would be awful. “Played really well with skilled linemates” - you realize Compher had more points, higher 5v5 Corsi, and a better xGD than Galchenyuk? Instead of investing anything in a failed retread that would be on his 4th team, I’ll give 1st rd picks like Newhook, Kaut and even Bowers. Galchenyuk is literally the epitome of wasted time and cap space, the Avs should avoid reclamation projects they don’t have the space for them.
