Nice to see Perlini getting an NHL job again

Low risk, high reward signing, Perlini was a good player but seemed to have dropped off during his first stint in the NHL

Unfortunately it’ll likely be low risk low reward for Edmonton.

I think Perlini has so much untapped potential, just feel like he's never got a good fit anywhere

I am highly concerned that his history with Tippett is going to blind Dave and see him playing over a potentially more deserving Benson

It has always been a head scratcher why Perlini is not a better player as when he first arrived in the league he had consistent 20 goal man written all over him. Maybe Tippett can figure him out given they are familiar with each other from the Yotes and Tippett got 14 goals from him as a 20 year old.

Think he's a bust. For whatever else Edmonton has done this offseason, the forward core they have is pretty solid, and I think he's more likely than not to get passed over by a Condor.

Yeah if you consider it adding Hyman, Foegle, Ryan and perlini while losing Khaira, Kahun, chiasson, Nygard, Haas, and Patrick Russel is pretty good. The problem lies in losing Bear, Jones and Larsson for Barrie, 8 x 9 of nurse and Ceci. Pretty interesting.

Liked him when he was with the hawks. If given the chance with Mcdavid he will score and hes got the wheels to keep up with him (mostly) . Good signing.

I like Perlini a lot, but I don’t know how much use they’re gonna get out of him. He doesn’t really fit in a bottom 6 and I don’t think he’s consistent enough to fit in a top 6.

That said, I hope he scores 30 next to McDavid or something lol he’s fun
