They’ have $19M in cap space. Kaprizov & Fiala will take up roughly $14M, Komarov $3M and $2M left for the deadline which is a lot when taking $$ retention into account

Wild still need to put finishing touches to roster in terms of depth, and having money for callups. Also, why would they trade for a player who won't play? 2-3 mil also matters on resigning kaprizov and fiala

What the players want is not equal to what they´ll get. Fiala will not get 8 mil per year, Kaprizov will only get 10 mil if he agrees to go long term.
