Yeah his contract isn't good, but he often gets lumped into the bad contract crowd to such an extreme to where people think he just isn't good at all, which is false.

As much as moving the money is nice, moving him as a player is just not a move that will happen for this management team yet.

Myers problem is he is a terrible fit for any of the current LD, none of them can cover him when he’s pushing up the ice (or as Myers does a bit - just wandering into the corners), and he can cover them for the same.

He does eat a lot of minutes and would be hard to move, it wouldn’t surprise me if, in the case where the defence is still having massive problems Rathbone is moved and either OJ or Hunt take the third LD spot.

Myers may fetch a third in a trade straight up. Manson will go for a first (at least) at the TDL if he gets there. OJ and a 3rd may make up the difference technically, but Anaheim would want a first for him. No worries though Jimmy will happily do the first plus more when the time comes. Drafting in the first 1-3 rounds is apparently highly over rated.
