If Olofsson is traded it will be a the deadline. Teams might not like him though because most of his points come from the power play, and it’s hard to draw penalties come playoff time.

I wouldnt move him for less than a first. I like olofsson and i want to see what ruotsalainen can do. Besides those 2 and cozens im prepared to not wanna watch any other forwards. We may not score 150 with them.

Beaudin having a breakout season would be very clutch. I think he will be better than Kalynuk but needs development in the AHL to come ready to the NHL.

If all anyone's offering is a 2nd, I think the Sabres just keep him.

I don't want to do that Dunn trade if Beaudin is required. I understand acquiring Dunn means there 1 less NHL spot to claim for these prospects, but between Beaudin/Kalynuk/Jones/Stillman...we need to rely on someone to actually develop into an NHL Dman. I thought Kalynuk and Beaudin played well. Could they use more seasoning? Yes. I'm just not convinced Dunn is head and shoulders better. I do think Strome will be traded. Stan's comments didn't include him within the discussion of centers...which I think he's better at. That's why I proposed the Vegas trade yesterday with Shaw after the season starts. Vegas is A.) ALL "the F" in / going for it at all costs. B.) Still needs a scoring center that can help their PP and C.) Have zero cap space. I just see that being almost to perfect to be true. He does n doesn’t. He’s 24 at the make it or break it point. He should be very motivated coming and ready to show us who he really is. Now if he’s ok let it ride to avoid rushing 21 year old Beaudin. Beaudin has top 4 potential so let’s try to make that happen. And very good chance Beaudin has strong camp and wins the spot anyways.
