Description

Given Chytil's performance last year, could NYR be inclined to trade Strome since he's an upcoming UFA? COuld they be looking for a third center like KK and had some experience with low Cap hit such has Kulak? Would Bergevin be ready to give up a 1st round pick and KK for a lead centerman with experience and leadership?

Point Taken, I took out the picks, give up KK and Kulak. Bring in Strome's brother from Chicago also.

Point taken; Still giving up KK and Kulak, just no picks. KK has been developing but he has yet to beef up. Poehling uses it, so I would keep him to play 3rd-4th line as he develops in the NHL. Would bring in the Strome brothers to play 1st and third line centers.

D Strome probably has more value than Lehkonen. He's put up better numbers and has likely been impacted by a bad team performance.

R Strome isn't worth giving up KK for. They'd see similar use and KK has room to grow. Better to give KK the chance unless we are trading for a player that is more well rounded.

I think I'd take R Strome over KK, he puts up more numbers, and has more skills. I think he'd put up even more with Anderson and Hoffman.

D Strome, point taken. I could put up a 3rd or 4th pick extra on that deal. While he may have been impacted by the team, he still isn't a huge jump ahead. I'm trading to get better centermen on the ice. We have enough wingers right now so in order to make sure our new guys produce the points we need, you need to get guys that can play at the NHL level right off the bat. We currently have Suzuki who's exceeded expectations, but he can't be the only top centerman we have. We need to split up the talent so that the other teams need to adust their games to ours instead of the other way around. Poehling may also start to move the puck and build his trust in his skills as he moves up to the NHL. He can learn from these guys.

And bringing the bros together may also add some value to their game and have that extra pump of energy before each game.
