Description

Pick is only top 2 protected because of Eichel doesn’t play this upcoming season then ANA will be back to the bottom of the league. Could be Lundestrom instead of Steel but Steel has the higher skill level.

Marino trade is just a “what the heck” trade lol. Maybe Manson and Deslauriers fits Hextall’s wants more ie toughness.

this imo is a fair trade considering the current circumstances but Dostal may not be any interest to Buffalo currently. That said, dont see this getting it done.

I know they just got Levi but he’s only 19. Dostal is pretty close to ready. I’m not sure where they sit with Lukkonen and his .888 sv% in the AHL this past season.

Sabres are going to give Lukkonen a chance to make the team out of training camp this year. His .888% was due mostly to the team in front of him was an ECHL team with the lack of prospects and injuries in Buffalo. IMO this trade lacks a big name. Steel is unproven in the NHL and the others are not top prospects.
