That is too much. There's a reason he hasn't been traded yet. He isn't worth what Buffalo is asking. Young NHL roster player, A+ prospect, 1st rounder, another 1st or a B prospect.

The old 10 for 1 deal, I've seen it many times before

Not like this. Normally its ten crap prospects.
This is way too much.

Boston has got to be just about the last place. We arent retaining for 5 years, they wont wanna play him 30 times before his contract is up, and if you gotta send 11 pieces, its the wrong pieces.

You know one way or another he is coming to Boston and this is a really good package for him BUT if you don't understand what your getting back in this deal then good luck in life.

If Donny did that he should be fired and possibly executed.
Quoting: Buffalove
I just don’t see Buffalo trading him to the Bruins

Bos, Pitt, Was are all in the same boat really good teams that are starting to age out - The question is does Eichel get you another kick at the can? personally I think Spencer Knight would be a better target nothing helps a team win in the playoffs more than a hot goalie

Whoa...that got dark!!

I think Buffalo just wants four 1sts. They don't need any prospects. If you need to give a short term cap dump for a season or two then they'd probably take those on.

Literally, Boston's entire future.
With Jack playing in front of McAvoy and Rask and Bergeron as the other top center we all do not think that Boston will be significantly better than last year?
For the next 2 or even 3 years all of those first round picks will be either just before Buffalo's second round pick or no more than 4 picks earlier as Boston will give Tampa a real challenge.
So the the three first round picks are nearly 2nds, but to avoid an argument, I will call them firsts.
The same for the 2nds will all be very late but we will call them 2nds.
DeBrusk from 2 years past looked really good, how about last year, With 5 goals and $3,500,000 salary does that put him into the cap dump catagory?
Vaakanainen a LHD drafted in 2017 (four year ago) has played 16 NHL games, does that put him into the bust catagory
Studnicka a good prospect, the
jewel of the trade.
Wagner please forgive me Chris, but what does he add to the trade.
Take out DeBrusk, Vaakanainen and Wagner from the trade.
Imagine Studnicka, 3 26th OA draft picks and 3 58th OA draft picks, does that sound like too much for Jack Eichel?
