No chance NYR does this. Eichel doesnt make sense for NYR unless he has 2.5-3m Retained even then his price is way to high for his injuries and his cap hit. NYR wont be moving kakko or laf. Both have way too much potential. NYR should be looking at dvorak atm or monahan.

They might retain 1M or 2M if the return is really worthwhile but not 4M and not for this borderline package.

NYR is saving cap for next year with ziba and fox needing bigger contracts this is known as their last year is this year.
