Eichel isn't going to Montreal... Montreal doesn't have extra prospects in the positions they need (C, RW and RHD) and I doubt their willing to give the value purely in picks.

If he is coming, something can be worked out with Kotkaniemi as the main piece.

Kotkaniemi doesn't have nearly as much value as Habs fans seem to think. I'd rather the 2023 1st round pick than KK.

I don't know the back issues seem to be putting teams off. It would be hard for a team to go really deep for a player with a chronic issue. Normally a player of his caliber would have been traded by now.

I think Buffalo has been getting a lot of lowball offers. Now they're saying they aren't in any rush to move him.
