I like that it starts with caufileld, but the remaining 3 players are not enticing enough.

The team that has deemed Caufield untouchable, and also isn’t sold on giving up a package around Kotkaniemi at this time.

There’s no possible trade without a team overpaying for Eichel or Buffalo selling him for pennies on the dollar

His health situation is simply too murky to think the Sabres will get value.

Buffalo can’t have him at camp. His presence will only further alienate fans and teammates.

Hilarious how Sabres fans think they deserve more when the whole hockey world is laughing at them.
You’d think they’d have some shame and simply want to be rid of this situation but I guess they are so used to a dysfunctional org, they honestly believe they still have any leverage lol

IK the situation, what i mean is Eichel ask a trade out right? correct me if i'm wrong but if he want out you would have to look around. This is where i introduce myself as an interest GM who would like to make a deal who can help both teams. Buffalo are loosing their !st center Captain 24 yo on a 5 years left contract. IK the price would be an over pay for us, but when you look at your lineup, where are the holes do you need to fill without Eichel in your lineup; This is why i am telling you i am listening and all players are available in my team. What type of role filler do you need RN

Eichel just doesn’t make sense. It’s a needless risk. This is the same as the Hawks saving the Lightning with the ridiculous Tyler Johnson trade. You don’t have to give in to their demands and I hope the Habs don’t give up Suzuki or Caufield cause those entry level deals are Gold and simply better fits on our team. Eichel hasn’t proven anything except he can lead a terrible team and is injury prone at 10 million a season. There’s enough promise on the Habs. We need certainty not GM Jack doing what he does

IMO Christian Dvorak makes more sense
Mostly because Bill Armstrong is open for business and selling
He did more in 10 years in STL at the Draft then anybody i can think of
He's stock piling picks and taking on bad contracts to do it
We can use this as a chance to move out Byron while upgrading to Dvorak

Throw in 1st round pick , 2nd round pick and a good prospect(Ghule,Ylonen,or Primeau) or another 2nd round pick.
Dvorak will actually fill a need as a 2nd line center for now who can settle into a 3rd line Center down the road as KK develops.
He's good for Bulk faceoffs like Danault was with a bigger offensive upside IMO

As long as the 1st rounder is top10 protected almost no one is worth a top10 1st this season and I don’t give up Guhle. He’s our best prospect next to Norlinder

After acquiring Eichel, Montreal would have Eichel and Suzuki as the top 2 centers, and wouldnt really have a use for KK. I would do Caufield, KK, Brook and a 1st.

Eichel hasnt proven anything? You are literally an insane person. Eichel had more points in his rookie season, at 18 years old, on a crappy ass team with no one around him, than Suzuki has had ever at an older age on a better team. Eichel is a top 10 player in the league, averages over a ppg with terrible linemates, is 24 years old and is a franchise #1 center. He's also a captain. Talk about his neck all you want, but to say he hasnt proven anything shows you are not being objective at all.

it's fait but nhl Bettman would not agreed this proposal because montreal is under -3,538,394 $ cap space, have any other ideas?
