You're gonna have alot of trolls but this here is a 100 point team in the NHL. I'd say 46-26-10 for 102 points. Matthews will score 50 goals, Marner will have a 100 point season, JT will still be a ppg player and Willy will have 30 goals 70 points.

The defence is still good and the tandem is solid.

that's barely .500. That's more than likely the Oilers wins as y'all still have questions on defence and goalie. Literally the only question on this team is LW depth which easily fixed on trade deadline...

As of right now, this team probably wins 46-48 games.

Although, Dubas is not done and the team will be improved.

As long as none of the top 4 gets injured, I would agree with this. But if even 1 misses significant time they could miss the playoffs in a very competitive Atlantic division

I think he'll add maybe Nick Ritchie and then save his car space for the deadline go add more, and push down some players in the line up.

I personally want to see a Kerfoot-Kampf-Joey Anderson line this season. 3 defensively responsible players with Kerfoot driving the line and Anderson having that scoring touch

I disagree, the only reason because of our defence. Our defence is extremely underrated and I'd say its a top 8 d-core in the league. Plus we have a really good tandem in net. Defence wins games and it won't be the Leafs needing to score their way out of games like they were used to from 2016-2020.

Other than Florida and Tampa I don't think there's another team in the Atlantic on that level. Boston, Montreal, Sabres all got worse and Ottawa and Detroit I think aren't ready to contend.

Boston and MTL are more wildcard teams than anything and if someone rebuttals saying they aren't because they can't get out the 1st round Florida who everyone is pegging to win the division hasn't been out the 1st round since 1996.

Boston resigned Hall and Rielly, brought in Foligno, Ullmark, Haula, Nosek, and will probably bring in Dvorak to replace Kreci.

MTL brings in Hoffman and Savard and still have a ton of cap to possibly add Eichel.

I’m sorry but TOR is the 5th team on this list.

TBL
FLA
BOS
MTL and TOR will battle for the 4th spot.

They will need to have all the big 4 have sick seasons to make up for no depth scoring.

Agreed the goalie situation is improved, better than last year, and the Dcore is still mainly the same.

I hope your right

Agreed. Ritchie would be a nice addition and that Kerfoot - Kampf - Anderson line would definitely be something I’d like to see at least tested.

I think something like Galch/Robertson - Kerfoot - Kampf could be sneakily good as well. Kerfoot and Kampf being defensively responsible while also having Kerfoot and one of the other two being capable of creating some offence.

Lots of people saying that Kampf is a defensive specialist that can breakout into one of the top defensive centres in the league. When you have that you need to surround him with play drivers like Kerfoot/Robertson and etc.

Dubas and Keefe is trying to create a shutdown line that they can use to free up their stars.

Bud alot of people disagree with Boston. Also they can't afford Dvorak. McAvoy bridge is up next year and his QO is 7.3 million. After what Jones got he's easily getting 9.5 million. If they commit to Dvorak it will have long term ramifactions on the team with their cap situation. They would be forced to shed Debrusk, Foligno, Coyle and more.

MTL lost Danualt. That's a huge loss because his literal assignments was to shutdown every teams best players. Now they won't have that, plus regular season Price, and they still struggle to score 5v5. Hoffman doesn't solve that. Hoffman is PP guy not a 5v5 guy. I would bet on Toronto steam rolling MTL in the regular season and I expect them to regress really hard especially with them lost Danualt, Weber, Perry and more.

Also if MTL add Eichel they lose alot of their depth. You need to draft Eichels to be good, not trade for them as you lose a ton of assets in the process hence why a trade hasn't been done.

Jake Evans looked like a real stud defensively last year, so I think he can replace Danualt.

Don’t get me wrong he’s a stud but he won’t be able to replace Danault. I think undoubtedly Danault proves he’s the best defensive centre in the league. That’s hard to replace even if Evans takes a leap
