Honestly, as a Ducks fan, I just don't see the value in this. As you said above, "dude can dominate draws and I think he’d be a stable 45pt guy for the next 3 years".
To me, the Henrique is more valuable to the Ducks as a consistent 2 way guy that can eat some of the tougher minutes instead of throwing the kids to the wolves. That, IMO, is more valuable than a fringy prospect, a 3rd, and a cap dump. Especially when the team is still eating half the contract and taking on Rask. Take him out and it might be closer.
Is it fair? Maybe. I wouldn't do it though.
