we have 6 potential 25 goal players... it's insane. we used to depend on the production of Tatar and Gally... and a bit of secondary scoring here and there...

either way we have insane wing depth. I hope KK will make the jump and I think peohling could handle himself on a line with good wingers. Faceoffs is the big issue that they all need to improve in

This is honestly what I would like to see. Enough of this bringing in vets to help the kids out, throw them into the ocean and see if they swim already

Yeah I hate when I see KK on a new line each night, just let the kid settle in with solid linemates (that isnt byron) and see what he does.

It will cost more than a 3rd round pick to dump Byron.

The Habs placed Byron on waivers like 3 times over this past season and nobody claimed him.

Just FYI smile

The lines are questionable with Toffy not being with Suzy and Goalfield and Chiarot on the LD. The Center is still a bit thin but how else will they learn, baptism by fire right!
I think Drouin will be moved, Byron stays and I have no problem with that.
Army, Poehling and Lehky makes up a line where all players are 6 feet and up for the first time in a like ever and that way Poehling is insulated for his first full season.

Byron placed on waivers was mostly for cap reasons and I for one was glad they had him come playoff time but agree with your draft pick addition scenario.

Waivers is not comparable LOL, Waivers is literally just taking him cause you'd like him which no team wanted but a team will take a 3rd tears of joy . The 3rd is incentive.

The 3rd is not enough of an incentive to take Byron at this point.

Although Byron's cap hit is 3.4 million, it's for two more years.

When you do the math, that's 6.8 million that is due for Byron.

If Byron had only one more year left on his contract, then the 3rd round pick might be enough to dump him.

But it's two frown
