No idea why this is so hard to understand, a team that has 2 first overall left handed d, plus several other promising left handed d- well that team probably isnt looking to trade for another one.

D prospects are a dime a dozen and not flashy like forwards so its easy to throw them away while pretending youre giving up value

Rangers fans are all very anxious to add zac jones, their sixth ranked prospect and left handed d in any offer, same idea. The rangers actually do have two right shot d that are ranked higher, i would rather go all forwards, but at least right shot d is a position that i can see a need for, not sure what the habs can offer there.

Id rather go all forwards as well, but with this roster built the way it is, theyre probably going to end up with Wright, Lambert, or Savoie (at this point in time), so if theres a throw in dman whatever, but hes not going to supplant an A+ forward prospect coming back. The rumored Vegas ask is an example, Krebs is clearly the best piece Hague is a clear throw in, i still think Vegas needs to add more than a first and a UFA forward as well

Friedman said as much today. The ask was definitely around krebs, the other pieces were wrong. People on here got a lot of miles out of trying to figure out which players matched the vegas ask- and it was all wrong.
